Q). Are we the cheapest suppliers of hearing aid accessories around? A). Maybe not, but we are very reasonable. Our hearing aid batteries for instance sell for a fraction of the price of most high street chains and national hearing aid companies. If you find a cheaper price a common ploy is to sell 'own label' hearing aid batteries that mask the manufacturer. Some suppliers sell hearing aid batteries at a loss to obtain your name and address and then bombard you with marketing material, we absolutely do not.
Q). Why do you only supply certain brands of hearing aid batteries? A). Over the years we have tried other manufacturers of hearing aid batteries but have found Rayovac, Duracell and Zenipower hearing aid batteries to be the most reliable. We could source hearing aid batteries from elsewhere for a cheaper price and pass those saving on to you, however we feel it's worth a little extra to have the best quality battery in your hearing aids.
Q). Do you supply hearing aid batteries and hearing aid accessories overseas or just to the UK? A). We are based in the UK but we can supply our goods worldwide. We offer FREE SHIPPING within the UK, shipping to European Union countries is £2.00 GBP per item, and elsewhere in the world we charge £3.00 GBP per item.
Q). I'm not sure which size of hearing aid battery / dome / waxtrap my hearing aids need? A). If you are unsure you are ordering the correct item please click the 'Contact' button to the right and fill in our handy webform, giving as much detail as you can. The make, model and serial number of your hearing aids is really useful information to help us to find what you need. Q). How long will it take for my goods to arrive? A). We'd like to say 2-3 days for UK orders from the day you ordered your goods, that would ordinarily be the case. Worldwide, orders can take longer, typically 1.5 - 2 weeks, or in the case of Italy in particular, up to 3-4 weeks. (All orders are processed same day or next day excepting weekends and bank holidays etc., once the goods leave us we are at the mercy of the postal services...) Unfortunately life sometimes gets in the way! The post gets delayed, staff go on holiday, goods are out of stock etc etc. We fully expect for you to receive your goods within the times we are suggesting but please let us know if you encounter any undue delay. Q). What about old expired batteries, do you offer recycling facilities? A). Under the Waste Battery Regulations, we are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries at our trading address listed on our Contacts Page (link to the right). You can return your waste batteries to our business premises in person (please do not post), or alternatively you can find your nearest local waste portable battery recycling facility at www.recyclenow.co.uk Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. End-users may find stores in their local area more accessible.
Q). Can you recommend anyone for hearing aid repairs, hearing tests and replacement of lost hearing aids, or perhaps advice on replacing hearing aids a bit past their sell-by date? A). We sure can!
